Four people told Columbus police they were held at gunpoint Monday during a carjacking on North Oakley Drive, according to an incident report.
Columbus police said they have yet to arrest anyone, but the offenders were described as black men who wore black masks and military attire. One is tall and skinny with short hair and the other is short and "chubby" with gold coloring in his hair, according to the report.
Police said they were called to the 400 block of Oakley Drive to address an armed robbery in which no one was seriously harmed. The incident happened outside of an Oakley Drive apartment Monday between 11 and 11:55 p.m, authorities said.
The victims told officials that the 45-year-old Columbus woman who lives at the residence was thrown to the ground, causing her elbow to bleed. A report indicates that she did not receive any medical treatment.
On Wednesday, police found the $35,000 2015 Honda Accord the thieves stole from one of the four victims.
