Authorities said they captured the man who they believe went on a violent crime spree that began Monday in Macon and continued into Thomaston.
Terence Earl Biggers was arrested Wednesday at Elizabeth Canty Apartments at 100 Canty Place. He faces one count each of armed robbery, kidnapping, aggravated assault, motor vehicle hijacking, criminal attempt armed robbery, criminal attempt aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, officials said.
The Muscogee County Sheriff's Office partnered with the U.S. Marshal's Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Georgia Department of Corrections to arrest the man on seven warrants related to the spree, deputies said.
According to the release, Biggers is the brother of Michael Johnson, who was recently convicted of murdering Columbus jeweler Steve Toms.
