A 24-year-old Auburn, Ala., man was arrested Friday and charged with second-degree burglary in connection with a June 4 attempt at a home on West Magnolia Avenue.
Eric D. Williams was taken into custody without incident by the Auburn Police Division and the U.S. Marshal's Service Task Force. Williams is held in the Lee County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
The arrest stems from a burglary investigation in the 800 block of West Magnolia Avenue. The victim told police that someone entered the home and attempted to take several electronic devices.
Williams was developed as suspect after he was identified from video surveillance inside the residence.
