A 38-year-old Columbus victim is suffering from facial injuries stemming from an armed robbery that occurred Thursday at the intersection of 23rd Street and 14th Avenue, Columbus police said.
The man was transported to the Midtown Medical Center with scrapes and knots on his face and head. He's in good condition, according to the incident report.
The victim told Columbus police that three strangers stopped him at the intersection of 23rd Street and 14th Avenue and attacked him between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.
He said a pistol was placed against his right eye and he was struck with an unknown object. The men then fled the scene with his Victory motorcycle keys, $20 helmet and $850.40 caliber pistol Springfield pistol, authorities said.
Officials have yet to identify the men or make any arrests in the case. Descriptions of the suspects were not provided.
