A 27-year-old Columbus woman is accused of firing a gun inside her Glenmere Drive home Friday afternoon, police said.
Brandy Mooring wasn’t taken into custody after the 12:30 p.m. weapon discharge but she was ordered to appear in Recorder’s Court to face a reckless conduct charge.
Police were called to the 5000 block of Glenmere Drive to check on shots fired when an officer talked to Mooring. She admitted to firing the weapon while a woman and young boy were inside the residence. Firing the weapon placed the occupants in danger, police said.
