Three Columbus men were held at gunpoint and two of them were injured early Sunday in an attempted robbery on 13th Avenue, according to a police report.
Columbus authorities are still searching for the suspect, who was described as a thin white man about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black mask, light blue shirt and white painter pants, according to the victims.
Officials said they were called to the apartment in the 4700 block of 13th Avenue around 3:21 a.m. in reference to a dispute.
When they arrived to the scene, the three victims reported that a stranger pointed a revolver at them in an attempt to rob them on the front porch.
The suspect allegedly struck one man in the head with the weapon and scratched another man's left wrist, the report states. The third victim was not harmed, authorities said.
The man who reported being pistol-whipped did not have any visible injuries, and both of the harmed individuals refused medical treatment, according to the report.
The incident remains under investigation.
