Columbus Police are working to identify the three males who are allegedly responsible for the Thursday night shooting and burglary on Claymore Road, according to a report.
No one was struck by a bullet, but a 51-year-old man did sustain small cuts on his left forearm as a result of the incident.
An officer said he was called to the 3600 block of Claymore Road around 12:52 p.m. in reference to a burglary in progress with shots fired.
The responding officer learned that a burglary and shooting happened at two separate homes in the same block and involved the same three suspects. Reports show that both incidents happened between 12:45 and 12:52 p.m., but records did not indicate which incident occurred first.

In the burglary, the group kicked in the side door of a 62-year-old man's home, causing $500 worth of property damage. It's unclear what was stolen from the residence.

All of the suspects were young black males and two of them had short hair, according to the victim. The only alleged offender with a "high and tight" haircut had on a bright yellow shirt. One of the males with short hair had on a black shirt, according to a report.
