A blood trail led police in LaGrange, Ga. to a suspect accused of breaking into the Venucci's restaurant on 129 Main Street.
According to a police report, 22-year-old Kyle Blanton of LaGrange was arrested and charged with burglary.
Around 4 a.m. Sunday, police officers responded to a report of a broken front door at Venucci's.
Police say they found blood and broken glass outside the restaurant along with a red fire extinguisher.

Officers cleared the business and found an open bottle of wine and food scattered in an office along with a wallet belonging to Blanton.
Officers followed a blood trail outside which led them to the Checkers restaurant at 211 Vernon Street. Blanton was found there bleeding profusely.
Officers also found five bottles of wine, two bags of chicken and one bag of bread taken from the restaurant.
Blanton was taken to West Georgia Medical Center for treatment.
