Columbus Police said $400 worth of household appliances were stolen from a 31-year-old man's Kings Mountain Court apartment this week.
No possible suspects have been named or described, according to the report.
Authorities said they were called to the residence in the 1200 block of Kings Mountain Court at 11:10 a.m. Thursday in reference to the burglary.
After examining the crime scene, investigators determined that the thief or thieves entered through the west-facing door and stole a $200 Kenmore washing machine and a $200 dryer. The burglary occurred between July 20 at 9 a.m. and Thursday at 11:05 a.m., according to the victim.
The apartment was left with less than $500 worth or property damage, police added.
