Phenix City Police announced Thursday that no one who witnessed the July 27 shooting death of 22-year-old Edric Bernard Robinson of Columbus has come forward.
Police believe that people were on the scene when Robinson was shot in the chest in the 200 block of 17th Avenue South around 10:20 p.m., but none of those individuals have spoken to police about the incident. Members of the public have submitted numerous anonymous tips about possible suspects, but police would also like people with firsthand knowledge to report any information they know about the homicide.
Robinson's death marks the third reported homicide in Phenix City this year.
