Police: Man flashes woman in Columbus Walmart parking lot

A woman told police that a man flashed her Monday night in a Columbus Walmart Supercenter parking lot after she denied his advances, according to reports.

Officials have yet to capture or identify the man responsible for the 8:30 p.m. incident, which police described as a sex crime.

Authorities said they were called to the Wendy's at 6490 Milgen Road around 8:55 p.m. Monday to check on a dispute. When police arrived on the scene, they spoke to a 42-year-old Columbus woman who reported being flashed by stranger.

She told authorities that she was in the 6475 Gateway Road parking lot when a Hispanic man with short curly hair asked her for her number. She told him that she was married and got into her vehicle, according to the report.

The man then approached her door and exposed himself to her while saying, "I wanna give you some of this," the woman told authorites.

The victim said she drove to the Wendy's drive-thru, and he drove next to her in a black "Jeep SUV" while she ordered and waited for her food. Then he fled the scene in an unknown direction, she said to police.

Authorities said they will continue to investigate the incident.
