Police investigate gun shots on Buena Vista Road

Columbus police are investigating shots being fired outside the Waffle House at 4005 Buena Vista Road.

According to police reports, shots were fired around 10:30 p.m. on Friday.

Witnesses described the shooter as a black male with a slim build, and long dreadlocks. He was wearing  white pants and a black shirt.

Witnesses also described a black or blue Chevrolet Camaro.

One witness said she was sitting at the bar in the Waffle House by a window that was shattered.

Two other witnesses said they were sitting in a booth by the front door and heard four or five shots being fired.

There is no report at this time of anyone being injured.
