Police: Woman, 19, raped in residence off Macon Road

Columbus Police said a 19-year-old woman reported being raped late Thursday in a residence near Macon Road.

A police report indicates that the suspect is familiar with her attacker but no arrests made in connection to the incident, which she said happened in a bedroom between 9 and 11 p.m. Thursday.

The victim transported herself to St. Francis Hospital, where she was listed in good condition.

The case remains under investigation.
