The Muscogee County School Board is scheduled to vote on four assistant principal recommendations Monday.
The board meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Muscogee County Public Education Center on Macon Road.
With school beginning in just three weeks, August 7, assistant principal positions are expected to be filled at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School, Arnold Magnet Academy, Hardaway High School and Reese Road Leadership Academy.
The recommendation of superintendent David Lewis for Hardaway is Jamarious Harris, the secondary dean at Shaw High School.

Lewis is asking the board to approve Ryan Hutson for Arnold. He serves as Title I academic coach at Arnold as well at Baker Middle School, Double Churches Middle School and Eddy Middle School.
At MLK, Lewis is recommending Karpice Bentley, an academic coach at the school.
For Reese Road, the choice is Cheryl Hampel, the academic dean at Dawson Elementary.
In other business:
▪ The board is scheduled to vote on the continuance of a 2015 Citizens SPLOST Committee.
Proposed membership on that committee includes Wanda Jenkins, Betsy Ritch-Reed, Bart Steed, Green Lewis, Rickey Harrow, Joel Fine, Tammy Yancey, Joe Coley, Paul Voorhees, Shannon Smallman, Joseph Brannon, Cecil Calhoun, Meredith Jarrell, Charles Lawhon, Alton Russell, Will Clark, Sam Wellborn, Bennie Newroth, Ryan Willoughby and Lisa Jenkins.
▪ The board is scheduled to vote on the purchase of musical instruments at the cost of $230,969.56 for the new Rainey-McCullers School of the Arts.
▪ The board is expected to vote on the appointment of Keisha Cook as school improvement grant administrator at Spencer High School. Her latest position was academic dean at Midland Middle School.
▪ In the public agenda, Willie Jenkins is expected to address the board. No topic was given on the board agenda.
