School begins soon and the United Way of the Chattahoochee Valley is still badly in need of school supplies for at-risk-youth.
In June, the nonprofit organization kicked off its annual Stuff the Bus initiative.
The campaign engages communities in helping at-risk youth get the tools they need to learn and succeed in school.
Backpacks filled with supplies will be distributed to 33 Title One Schools in Muscogee County, Harris County and Russell County.
United Way CEO Scott Ferguson said United Way is hoping to help more kids this year than last when 4,620 backpacks were distributed.
Items needed include backpacks, markers, index cards, crayons, erasers, glue sticks and composition notebooks.
Drop off locations include the Phenix City-Russell County Library, Stars and Strikes, Red Lobster, Sports Clips and the United Way office.
