The Columbus Bar Association, in celebration of Law Day, hosted the annual Law Day lunch event where area middle school and high school students were recognized as essay contest winners. The Columbus Bar Association recognizes and celebrates Law Day every year and students from area schools are involved via the essay contests.
The 2014 Law Day theme is "American Democracy and the Rule of Law: Why Every Vote Matters." Over 12 schools participated with 137 total essays submitted. The essay winners are:
