Columbus State's Oxbow Meadows Environmental Learning Center will host Radical Reptiles 10-11 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 25 and June 27.
This activity, recommended for ages 6 and up, gives participants an up-close look at Oxbow's resident reptiles, including snakes, alligators and turtles.

The YMCA of Columbus is sponsoring Y Kids Tri, a triathlon to be held June 28. Y Kids Tri, founded in 2011, provides the perfect launching pad for youth to break into the sport of Triathlon.

The swim takes place at the downtown YMCA pool; the bike and run take place on closed roadways and running paths all along Uptown's streets and the Riverwalk.

So You Want to be an Astronaut Camp, June 23-June 27 at the Coca-Cola Space Science Center.
Designed to prepare America's next generation of astronauts, this camp takes participants through an intense experience of exploring robotics, flying Challenger missions and fighter jet simulators, designing aliens, mastering telescopes, gaming, building and launching different types of rockets and more. Class times are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. For ages 8-10.
