  • Alabama's Nick Saban featured in voter registration spots

The Alabama Secretary of State's Office is kicking off their voter registration and identification efforts Sept. 1 with a campaign that features Alabama head football coach Nick Saban and Auburn head football coach Gus Malzahn. Informational videos featuring the coaches will be played on the jumbotron at Jordan-Hare Stadium and Bryant Denny Stadium, while posters will be available at local Board of Registrar Offices and mobile units where citizens are registering to vote. “We have been very fortunate to secure the services of Coach Saban and Coach Malzahn as we try to improve voter registration and participation in the state of Alabama,” said Secretary John H. We want every person who is eligible to vote, as a citizen of Alabama, to have the privilege to do so.”
