Feds order new rail rules in response to deadly derailment

The Federal Railroad Administration late Friday ordered the nation’s rail carriers to take steps to better secure trains loaded with hazardous cargo, nearly a month after the deadly derailment and explosion of a crude-oil train in Quebec that killed 47 people.
