U.S. consumers feel more confident, but are still cautious

Four years after the end of the Great Recession, the consumer is back – just not with a vengeance. Consumption continues to show improvement, and yet Americans still clutch their wallets. On the plus side, rising home prices, improving jobs numbers and a falling unemployment rate are bolstering how consumers feel about the economy.
