Mayor: Teresa Tomlinson was re-elected with over 62 percent of the vote.
Council, District 1: Jerry "Pops" Barnes maintains seat.
Council, District 7: Evelyn “Mimi” Woodson was victorious in her bid for a sixth-straight term.

Council, District at large: Judy Thomas was re-elected with over 60 percent of the vote.
School board, District 2: Incumbent John Wells, candidate John Thomas will head to July 22 runoff.
School board, District 8: Frank Myers defeats Beth Harris with nearly 65 percent of the vote.
School board, District at large: Kia Chambers wins seat without runoff.
U.S. Senate: Michelle Nunn won the democratic primary, and David Perdue and Jack Kingston will head to a July 22 runoff for the Republican nomination.
Governor: Gov. Nathan Deal handily won the Republican primary. He'll face state Sen. Jason Carter in November.
State superintendent: In the Democratic primary, Valarie Wilson and Alisha Morgan appeared headed for a runoff. On the Republican side, Michael Buck and Richard Woods were likely going in the same direction.
