The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for several Alabama counties including Lee, Russell, and Chambers.
The advisory begins at midnight and lasts until 7 p.m. Thursday
There could be winds sustained at 15-25 miles per hour with gusts of 35- 40 mph.
Strong winds could results in large limbs and weak trees being blown down.
Residents can expect rain as well with an 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
