Sledge hasn’t changed
I’m glad to see the new year has not changed Kaffie Sledge. I just read her “What If” column. She still maintains a firm grasp of the obvious.
Be governed accordingly

Recall both senators
Clueless senators Isakson and Chambliss should be recalled by the voters for ignoring the wishes of well over 75 percent of their voters by opposing the health care bill.

Party of No
The Republican Party of “No” has done nothing to fix our health care system. They just complain and criticize for political purposes. For their elections this year, you should say “no.”
Did you know that Mississippi and other Southern states lead the nation in college graduates? You’re more likely to be a college graduate if you are a Southerner.
Some are fine people
All skateboarders are not punks and they don’t belong in jail. Some are A students and good Christians.
What a shame
It’s a shame that the vet was escorted out so the Phenix City “good old boys” could maintain control.
Dusty Nix should advise Alabama Attorney General Troy King on prevarication. If we need a true expert on prevarication, it’s good ol’ Dusty.
