Pick of the day
There is a plethora of political candidates today trying to arouse our fear of terrorism and the like. Trouble is, the candidates frighten me more than the terrorists.
Disregard at will
Donald Trump has no more respect for the truth than a tomcat has for a marriage license.
If that’s not racial, what is?
“I am not a token, mammy, or little brown bobble head,” declared Melissa Harris-Perry in an interview with the Times. She then said “I don’t know if there is a racial component.” Really?
Voting would probably be more effective
I am not proud of any of the candidates and will not vote in the Republican primary. But I will crawl on hands and knees, if necessary, to help defeat Hillary in the general election.
Last week was the first time I could do my 8-mile bike ride on the Riverwalk since it flooded. Has anyone noticed all the plastic bags in the trees? Sad.
Why do we have to build a special school in order for students to get an education in the arts? What happened to the day when you could get an arts education at any school?
Doesn’t speak for me
I have been a registered Republican all my adult life, but I just can’t see myself voting for a babbling idiot.
Christie endorsed Trump less than two months after stating he was unqualified to be president. I guess bullies of a feather flock together.
Needs to do a little more ‘moving’ himself
Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill claims the state has become a “Mover and Shaker” by joining the Super Tuesday primaries. Poor John obviously doesn’t get out much.
