Preschoolers' service project brightens local park, gives people a way to fend off cold temps

Three and four-year-old children from the St. Paul Preschool at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Columbus, escorted by their parents and teachers, made the short walk from the church to Lakebottom Park Monday morning to tie scarves onto the railing of the bridge near the playground during their Second Annual "Hanging Out at the Bridge" event. Nearly 32 children in the classes have been collecting scarves since the fall leave at the bridge. A sign encourages anyone who needs one to simply take one. The school's motto is "If you think that our hands are full, you should see our hearts."
