The semifinals for the Georgia Little League state tournament are set.
Columbus Northern won Pool B with a 16-0 victory over Walton on Thursday night. Meanwhile Toccoa won Pool A after its 11-7 victory over Cartersville.
In tonight’s semifinals, which both will be played at 6 p.m., Northern plays Murphey Candler, while Toccoa faces Walton.
The championship game is set for 10 a.m. Saturday.

In a battle of unbeatens, Northern rolled past Walton on the strength of four home runs by Blake Hicks, Brandon Pugh, Knox Carter and Kobie Buglioli.
“Hitting is contagious, so we try to tell the kids to feed off each other,” Northern manager Randy Morris said.
“We’re right where we want to be, we just have to take it one at bat at a time and see where we are at in the sixth (inning).”
Buglioli almost didn’t swing at the pitch he hit his homer on.
“I just started to check swing and noticed it was right down the middle, so I swung hard,” he said.
Jalen Latta, who was 1-for-1 with two RBIs in the game, is 6-for-8 in the tournament.
“I just look for the fastball and try to hit up the middle,” he said.
Jacob Pate went 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs, Troy Gilliland went 2-for-2 with an RBI and Zac Cravens went 1-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs for Northern.
Gilliland picked up the win on the mound. He started and went 1 2-3 innings. Pugh and Pate also pitched.

Davis Murray went 2-for-3 and drove in two runs to lead Martinez-Evans to the win.
Robert Leicht earned the win, allowing two runs in four innings.
Dane Bullock and Tony Nalley had two hits apiece for Brooks.
Logan Stanley and Elliott Melton had two hits apiece for Martinez-Evans.

Toccoa finished its run through Pool A undefeated with a win over Cartersville.
Tristen Powell was the winning pitching, striking out nine in three innings. He allowed one run on two hits.
The leading hitters for Toccoa were Ben Cleveland (3-for-3, 2B, 2HR, 4R, 6RBI), Kooper Briley (2-for-4, 2B, 2R, 2RBI) and Blake Walker (3-for-3, 2B, HR, 2R, 3RBI).
Jacob Woods (2-for-3, R, 2RBI) led Cartersville.
@BR Scoreline:Midway 9, Bryan County 6
Midway won its first game in the final game in pool play.
Stephan Sims picked up the win, giving up four earned runs on five hits in four innings. He had six strikeouts.
For Midway, the hitting leaders were Equavius Huff (3-for-4, 2R, 2RBI), Stephan Sims (2-for-3, HR, 2RBI) and Late’vius Wells (2-for-4, R, RBI).
Aaron Braswell (3-for-4, 2B, HR, 2R, 3RBI) led Bryan.
