By virtue of clinching the No. 10 seed in the SEC Tournament with Saturday's 67-52 win over LSU, Auburn set up a matchup against seventh-seeded Ole Miss at 7:30 p.m. ET Thursday in the first round of the SEC Tournament at New Orleans Arena.
The Tigers (15-15, 5-11 SEC) have split two games with Ole Miss this season.
On Jan. 14, Auburn picked up its first SEC win of the season against the Rebels at home in Auburn Arena in a 69-68 double-overtime thriller, and Ole Miss got its revenge by beating the Tigers 61-54 in Oxford, Miss. on Feb. 11.
Ole Miss (18-12, 8-8) comes into the game on a hot streak. The Rebels finished the season with three straight wins over LSU, Arkansas and Saturday's 60-51 win over likely NCAA Tournament participant Alabama at home.
