Three weeks of the NFL season have already passed by. As we did last week and will continue to do for the remainder of the season, let's check in with how Auburn alums fared during Week 3.

Cam Newton (QB, Carolina Panthers): Newton was 15-of-27 passing for 233 yards and three touchdowns Sunday against the Giants. He also rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. The Panthers shut-out the Giants 38-0. The top overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Newton has 8,497 yards passing with 46 touchdowns along with 1,545 yards rushing and 23 touchdowns in his career.

Karlos Dansby (LB, Arizona Cardinals): Recorded a team-high 12 solo tackles in a 31-7 loss to the Saints. Dansby also had one pass deflection in the game and now has 28 solo tackles on the season. He has totaled more than 900 tackles in his pro career.
Rob Bironas (PK, Tennessee Titans): Made 2-of-3 field goals against the Chargers, missing a 43-yarder wide right in the third quarter. Bironas also made two extra points as the Titans defeated the Chargers 20-17. Bironas has hit 220 field goals in his NFL career at a rate of 85.3 percent.
Ben Grubbs (OG, New Orleans Saints): Grubbs started for the Saints in their Week 3 victory over Arizona. He helped protect Drew Brees who threw for 342 yards and two touchdowns. Grubbs has started 89 of his 93 career games played for Baltimore and New Orleans.

Daren Bates (LB, St. Louis Rams): Recorded one solo tackle during a punt return against Dallas in the first quarter. Bates has two tackles this season and has played in all three games for St. Louis.
Ronnie Brown (RB, San Diego Chargers): Ran for six yards on five attempts against the Titans and recorded his first touchdown of the season on a one-yard run in the third quarter. The touchdown was the first for Brown since 2011. He has recorded more than 7,000 total yards in his nine-year career with 40 touchdowns.
Josh Bynes (LB, Baltimore Ravens): Started for the Ravens against the Houston Texans and recorded two tackles (one solo) as Baltimore earned a 30-9 victory. Bynes has 18 tackles this season and has started all three games for Baltimore.
Jason Campbell (QB, Cleveland Browns): Did not play in the Browns’ 31-27 defeat by Minnesota. Campbell has 14,688 yards passing and 76 touchdowns in his career.
King Dunlap (OT, San Diego Chargers): Started in the Chargers’ 20-17 defeat by the Titans. Dunlap’s third start of the season was the 22nd start of his career.
Nick Fairley (DT, Detroit Lions): Fairley recorded three tackles in the Lions’ 27-20 victory over the Redskins. After missing Week 2 with a shoulder injury, Fairley has eight tackles in two games this year. He has 57 tackles and eight sacks in his three-year career.
Tyronne Green (OG, New England Patriots): Placed on the injured reserve on August 15 with an undisclosed injury.
Quentin Groves (LB, Cleveland Browns): Missed Week 3 against the Vikings after sustaining an ankle injury at Baltimore in Week 2. Groves has recorded 155 tackles, 7.5 sacks and two interceptions in his six seasons in the NFL.
Josh Harris (LS, Atlanta Falcons): Played in the Falcons 27-23 defeat by the Dolphins. Snapped for four field goals and two extra points, as well as two punts. He has played in all 19 games since joining the league in 2012.
Will Herring (LB, New Orleans Saints): Played in the Saints’ 31-7 victory over Arizona, but did not record any statistics. The Opelika native is in his seventh season in the NFL and third with New Orleans. Herring has 133 tackles in seven seasons.
Brandon Jacobs (RB, New York Giants): Had three carries for two yards in his second game with the Giants this season. Jacobs was claimed off the waivers by the Giants prior to their Week 2 game against Denver. He has rushed for more than 4,800 yards and 57 touchdowns in his NFL career.
Corey Lemonier (LB, San Francisco 49ers): Did not record any statistics in the 49ers’ Week 3 loss to Indianapolis. Lemonier was drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Sen’Derrick Marks (DT, Jacksonville Jaguars): Marks had two tackles (one solo) in the Jaguars’ 45-17 loss to Seattle. In his first season with Jacksonville, Marks has seven tackles through Week 3. Marks has recorded 106 tackles and three sacks in his five professional seasons.
Brandon Mosley (OG, New York Giants): Did not play for the Giants in their 38-0 loss to the Panthers. He saw his first action as a pro in week one. Mosley missed all of 2012 due to injury after being selected in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Ben Obomanu (WR, New York Jets): Saw playing time against Buffalo in his second game since being claimed off waivers by the Jets. New York earned a 27-20 victory against Buffalo. Obomanu has 1,209 yards and seven touchdowns in his career.
Jerraud Powers (CB, Arizona Cardinals): Recorded four tackles (three solo) against the Saints. Powers also had two pass deflections in the 31-7 loss to New Orleans. He has nine tackles and three pass deflections this season. Powers has 219 tackles and six interceptions in five seasons in the league.
Jay Ratliff (NT, Dallas Cowboys): Remains on the Cowboys’ physically unable to perform (PUP) list with a hamstring injury and is not expected to return until week seven. Ratliff has 228 tackles with 27.0 sacks in nine years with the Cowboys.
Carlos Rogers (CB, San Francisco 49ers): Had one tackle against Indianapolis Sunday. The Colts defeated San Francisco 27-7. Rogers has two tackles and one pass deflection this season. The former Pro Bowl selection has 400 tackles and 15 interceptions in nine seasons in the NFL.
Pat Sims (DT, Oakland Raiders): Recorded two solo tackles against the Broncos on Monday Night Football as the Raiders fell to Denver, 37-21. Sims has 146 tackles and five sacks in his career.
Ben Tate (RB, Houston Texans): Rushed for 36 yards on nine attempts and made three receptions for seven yards in the Texans’ 30-9 defeat by the Ravens. Tate has 1,405 yards and six touchdowns in his career. He has totaled 184 yards on 27 attempts so far in 2013.
