AUBURN, Ala. — We're still a few minutes away from kickoff, here's some pregame notes before Auburn and Ole Miss tussle tonight in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
- It was obviously a game-time decision, but senior cornerback Chris Davis, is back in the starting lineup after missing the last two games. He wasn't listed on the Tigers' two-deep depth chart released Wednesday, but he's apparently good enough to play tonight. He takes his spot back from Ryan White, who had held down the fort opposite Jonathon Mincy versus Mississippi State and LSU, respectively.
- Another change to the starting lineup has Carver alum Gabe Wright in the starting lineup in place of Ben Bradley. Wright started the season opener against Washington State at one of the team's defensive end positions, but Bradley manned the spot the past three contests.
- Ole Miss made a pair of changes itself. At defensive end, Cameron Whigham will take C.J. Johnson's place with the Rebels' starting defense. There were two other alterations to the Ole Miss defensive line, as they have a pair of new starters at the tackle positions: Woodrow Hamilton and Bryon Bennett.
- The temperature was 77 degrees a half hour before kickoff, with calm wind accompanying sunny and clear skies.
