AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn will be well-represented in the next edition of the Senior Bowl.
On Monday, four Tigers accepted invites to play in the game, set to take place Jan. 25 in Mobile, Ala.
One is Mobile native Jay Prosch, Auburn's starting fullback.
He'll be joined by defensive end Dee Ford, corner Chris Davis and kicker Cody Parkey. Ford was named to the Associated Press All-SEC first-team earlier Monday, while Davis was selected for the second team. Parkey, while not making the all-conference team, is coming off a big performance in last Saturday's SEC Championship game. Parkey's 52-yard field goal in the third quarter was not just a career-best, but also set a SEC Championship game record for longest kick ever made.
But before the quartet heads to the Senior Bowl, they hope they can help Auburn capture its second BCS national title in four years, as it will take on top-ranked Florida State on Jan. 6 in Pasadena, Calif.
