AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn will offer non-renewable season tickets in the upper decks of Jordan-Hare Stadium this fall, the athletics department announced Monday.
Due to reduced visitor ticket allotments in 2014, the east and west upper decks at Jordan-Hare Stadium — known as the "Eagle's Nest" — had seats available for the school to offer season ticket packages priced at $350 for the Tigers' seven home games, which is $100 less than the regular season ticket price.
The tickets will not require a donation to Tigers Unlimited, nor will they be available for the 2015 season. At that time, the tickets will be folded back into the visiting teams' ticket allotments.
“We had a unique opportunity to offer the Eagle’s Nest season tickets for this season only due to the fact that we now play Alabama and Georgia at home in the same year,” senior associate athletic director Scott Carr said in an official release from the university.
Never miss a local story.
Auburn came up with the season ticket package after hearing positive feedback from fans last year.
“We conducted town hall meetings last summer and our fans told us they would like to see some different ticket options,” athletic director Jay Jacobs said. “We listened, and we are pleased to offer this special package for the 2014 season.”
