Auburn football: 2015 verbal commit Jason Smith arrested on drug charges

AUBURN, Ala. — A verbal commit for Auburn's 2015 recruiting class was arrested Sunday. Jason Smith, considered a four-star prospect by every major recruiting service, was arrested by the Mobile County (Ala.) Sheriff's Office and charged with second-degree possession of marijuana as well as two counts of attempting to elude police.
