AUBURN, Ala. — Reporters were permitted to view a little more than 20 minutes of practice on Tuesday, which marked the seventh session of the spring for Auburn. Here are some thoughts and observations from the open portion of practice. (Not much to see today, folks.)
- Defensive end Elijah Daniel was back at practice Tuesday in full pads. He was hampered last week by a groin injury.
- Tyler Nero was dressed out but did not don pads, nor take part in any drills. The third-year sophomore was taken to the hospital during last Thursday's practice, but returned to watch the Tigers' scrimmage on Saturday.
- The Tigers focused heavily on special teams work during the media viewing portion, working on kickoff coverage early on.
- It was a short list of returners on Tuesday. Fielding punts were Star Robenson Therezie and receiver Marcus Davis while running back Cameron Artis-Payne and receiver Sammie Coates were returning kicks.
