AUBURN, Ala. — Gus Malzahn and Bo Jackson will represent Auburn on the links once more.
On Tuesday, the pairings for the 2014 Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge were announced, which joined Malzahn and Jackson for the second straight year. Last season the duo came in eighth place at 5-under-par.
Other notable names for the annual tournament in Atlanta include Nick Saban and Mark Ingram for Alabama as well as former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville, now at Cincinnati. Tuberville will team up with Cincinnati Bengal linebacker (and former Bearcat) J.K. Schaffer at the three-day tournament, which begins April 27 at the Reynolds Plantation resort in Greensboro, Ga.
In all, there are 11 teams competing for the $125,000 first-place prize; every team, regardless of finish, will receive a portion of the $520,000 purse, with the money going toward the scholarship fund of each university.
