AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn's latest commit for its 2015 recruiting class was big in more ways than one.
Jauntavius Johnson picked Auburn over his other finalist — the Tigers' arch-rival, Alabama — Wednesday afternoon. Johnson's pledge is significant in that he became Auburn's first from a defensive lineman for 2015. A three-star defensive tackle, Johnson stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 330 pounds and plays at Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Ala.
With Johnson's commitment, the Tigers moved up one spot in 247Sports' team rankings, now sitting at No. 7.
