4-star athlete Stephen Davis Jr. decommits from Auburn
What started out as a strong weekend for Auburn on the recruiting trail ended on a down note with 4-star athlete Stephen Davis Jr. reopening his recruitment.
The South Carolina native used his Twitter account to make the announcement.
After thinking a lot I have just decided to open my recruitment back up and de-commit from Auburn.

Davis is the son former Auburn running back Stephen Davis. After rushing for more than 8,000 yards for the Tigers, the elder Davis went on to have a pro bowl career in the NFL.
The younger Davis had verbally committed to Auburn last year over offers from Clemson, Flordia, Georgia, Missouri, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and North Carolina.
He is the sixth best recruit in South Carolina according to 247 Sports. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder plays for Dutch Fork High School.
