Plans were finalized Monday for the official national championship celebration in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The party begins at 3 p.m. EST Saturday in Bryant-Denny Stadium and is expected to last an hour. Admission is free. The first 50,000 fans will receive a poster of the team at the Rose Bowl. Seating is not reserved, and the event will go on regardless of the weather. There won’t be a parade. Neither coaches nor players will be available for autographs, according to a news release issued by the school.
Parking and traffic patterns will be similar to those used for A-Day games. Shuttles begin operation at 10 a.m. EST from the soccer field lot and the grass lot on the east side of the campus. Concessions and merchandise will be available at the stadium, but food vendors will not be operating on the Quad.
