TUSCALOOSA, Ala.-- Spring practice is less than a week away for Alabama.
The Crimson Tide is expected to take the field March 11, with A-Day being scheduled at 2 p.m. April 16.
But before then, we'll break down each position group.
Today, we take a look at the offensive line where Alabama has two open spots to fill.
Never miss a local story.
Departed: Ryan Kelly, Dominick Jackson, Isaac Luatua
Ready for the spring: Cam Robinson, junior; Alphonse Taylor, senior; Ross Pierschbacher, sophomore; J.C. Hassenauer, junior; Korren Kirven, senior; Bradley Bozeman, junior; Matt Womack, redshirt freshman; Dallas Warmack, sophomore; Richie Petitbon, redshirt freshman; Brandon Kennedy, redshirt freshman; Lester Cotton, sophomore; Josh Casher, sophomore; Jonah Williams, freshman; Chris Owens, freshman; Charles Baldwin, junior college transfer.
Coming in the summer/fall: Deonte Brown, Scott Lashley
Outlook: Three-year starter Ryan Kelly is gone, leaving the Tide with a major hole at center.
Also, right tackle Dominick Jackson has moved on, which means the Tide must replace two starters from its national championship offensive line.
But the good news is Alabama returns three starters from last year's group including left tackle Cam Robinson. Robinson is joined by right guard Alphonse Taylor and left guard Ross Pierschbacher, who both started all 15 games last season.
At center, J.C. Hassenauer seems like the next logical option, as he was the one who stepped in as the backup whenever Kelly went down last season. Bradley Bozeman is an option. He started two games at center in 2014, but mostly played guard last season. Josh Casher is also an option at center.
Right tackle is more of a toss up.
Korren Kirven, Lester Cotton, junior college transfer Charles Baldwin and January enrollee Jonah Williams are all options.
Baldwin and Williams will be going through their first practices with the team this spring, but both are talented enough to contribute from day one.
Alabama has done a nice job of stockpiling offensive line talent over the last few years, which means the back ups should be pushing to be on par with the starters.
