LEXINGTON, Ky. — Friday’s game between No. 5 Georgia and Kentucky has been pushed back to today because of rain.
The Bulldogs and Wildcats will play a doubleheader today beginning at 2 p.m. The second game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and will be televised by FOXSN.
This will be Georgia’s third doubleheader this season as the Southeastern Conference opener at Alabama on March 14 was postponed because of rain and Tuesday’s game against Winthrop was pushed back because of cold weather.
Georgia (26-6, 8-4) holds a one-game lead over Florida in the SEC East and is two games behind Arkansas for the overall lead. Kentucky (18-13, 4-8) is four games back in the East.
