Several players who missed the scrimmage were also out from Thursday's practice: Tight end Jay Rome (ankle sprain), outside linebacker Chase Vasser (ankle sprain), and Rantavious Wooten (hamstring strain). The three outside linebackers who had hand surgeries earlier in the week remain out for a few more days: Leonard Floyd, Davin Bellamy and James DeLoach.
A few more were practicing, but were in non-contact jerseys: Free safety Tray Matthews (shoulder sprain), cornerback Shaq Wiggins (groin strain), safety Quincy Mauger (hamstring strain), receiver Blake Tibbs (shoulder sprain) and guard Greg Pyke (ankle sprain).
But the bottom line is that so far ... so far ... the only players who are in danger of missing the opener against Clemson are the ones we already know are out with season-ending injuries. (Freshman cornerback Reggie Wilkerson and freshman safety Paris Bostick.) There's also the suspended Josh Harvey-Clemons, and the possibly-suspended Marshall Morgan.
Incidentally, you may notice in the video above that Josh Harvey-Clemons is back working with the safeties, after being with the outside linebackers the previous practice. You should expect the sophomore to keep rotating back and forth, as he continues to prepare for that star position role.
