Jonathan Ledbetter, a highly-regarded defensive end at Tucker High School, has flipped his commitment from Alabama to Georgia.
It comes a little more than three weeks after Ledbetter's older brother Joseph received a scholarship at Georgia to play tight end. Joseph Ledbetter had played basketball the past two seasons at a Division II school.
Last week Joseph Ledbetter said he wasn't sure whether his joining the Bulldogs would help with his brother.
"I would hope so," he said. "But that's something you'd have to talk about with him."
Never miss a local story.
Jonathan ended the suspense on Saturday night, tweeting out his decision:
"Want to thank all my recruiting coaches and the entire staff at Bama but I've decided to stay home and rep my state. #Dawg4Life #GoDawgs."
Jonathan Ledbetter (6-foot-4, 275 pounds) is rated a four-star prospect by the 247Sports Composite. He is the 21st commitment for Georgia's 2015 class, the third of this week, and the second of Saturday night, after receiver Jayson Stanley.
