CSU's Swanepoel leads Indian Bayou Collegiate Classic after 6-under 66

Destin, Fla. -- Columbus State’s Stephen Swanepoel shot a 6-under 66 on Monday to take a two-shot lead after the first round of the Indian Bayou Collegiate Classic.

In the team competition, CSU is in sixth place and 12 shots behind host North Alabama after shooting a 297 (+9).

The Cougars got a 74 from Michael Hicks, but the rest of the five-men team struggled on Monday. Columbus resident Michael Lee opened with a 78 to go along with 79s from Jeremy Britt and Steven Paine.
