Virginia Tech baseball bonces back for Game 2 win over Georgia Tech

ATLANTA — Virginia Tech scored five runs in the top of the ninth and held the Yellow Jackets scoreless to even their series with an 11-10 Game 2 victory.

Georgia Tech’s Mark Pope was credited with the loss after losing a 10-5 lead by allowing in six runs (five earned) on four hits while striking out one in two-thirds of an inning.

Georgia Tech won 7-6 in the completion of Friday’s suspended game on a ninth-inning RBI single by Tony Plagman.

Georgia Tech’s Mark Pope (4-0) earned the win.
