The Green Island Golf Club Member-Guest tournament recently weathered a course saturated by more than 4 inches of rain and some washed-out rounds but concluded with 12 flight champions crowned and one overall champion team.
Ed Matthews and Phillip Robinson, winners of the 4th Flight, were also the overall victors in the Oct. 14-17 match-play event, with Flight 10 winners Jay Alexander and Chuck Briscoe finishing second overall.
