AUBURN, Ala. — A $1,000 Alabama Power Foundation grant will help fund the renovation of an Auburn woman's home on Saturday.
The grant will help the Lee County chapter of Rebuilding Together put a fresh coat of paint and and make repairs to the home of Carolyn Hill at 926 Salmon St.
Rebuilding Together will make repairs to nine houses of low-income, disabled or elderly families and individuals in the county.
Never miss a local story.
A dozen volunteers from the organization will be joined by volunteers from the Briggs & Stratton engine plant in Auburn, which is joining the Alabama Power Foundation in making a financial contribution to cover Hill's home repairs.
