The pairings for the first round of the GHSA playoffs are set with five local teams set to start the long road to the Georgia Dome, site for all five state championship games this season. Dates and times have not been set.
In Class AAA, Carver, which won Region 2, will host Crisp County, the fourth seed from Region 1. Crisp finished in a tie for third place with Dougherty, which is led by former Shaw coach Charles Flowers, but Dougherty won the head-to-head meeting, so the Trojans earned the third seed and a trip to play at LaGrange.
Shaw, the third seed from Region 2, will be on the road to play Peach County, which finished second in Region 1. Troup will open at Region 1 champion Cairo.
In Class A, Region 4 champion Brookstone, which finished an unbeaten season Friday night with a win over Schley County, will host Savannah Country Day.

Schley, Chattahoochee County and Greenville all finished at 7-2 in Region 4, and all went 1-1 against the other two. Schley County earned the second seed and a home game in the first round of the playoffs against Johnson County.
Chattahoochee County is the third seed and will travel to Savannah Christian, while Greenville will be at ECI.
In Class AAAA, Harris County finished third in Region 1 and will be on the road at Region 2's second-place team, Statesboro.
