It didn't take long for Carver quarterback Devin Burns to find a fitting replacement for Georgia.
The rising senior committed to Maryland during a visit to the College Park, Md.-campus on Saturday, according to Carver coach Dell McGee.
The 6-2, 170-pound Burns made his decision less than two weeks after Georgia withdrew its scholarship offer, leading McGee to declare Georgia was no longer welcome at Carver.Burns is ranked a 3-star recruit by rivals.com and is No. 78 on the site's list of the top 100 recruits for 2010.
