Several high school basketball games delayed by weather yesterday will be played today, according to Muscogee County School District system-wide athletic director Gary Gibson.
In girls and boys play, Kendrick will play at Shaw at 6 p.m., and Manchester will play at Jordan, also at 6 p.m. The Northside girls will play at Carver beginning at 7:30 p.m. with the boys game to follow. There will be no Northside-Carver junior varsity games.
Heard County will host Jordan on Monday and Spencer on Tuesday. Spencer will play at Crawford County on Monday and at Heard County on Tuesday, and Jordan would play at Heard County on Tuesday. It was unclear how Region 5-AA would reschedule its tournament, which was first slated to being with play-in games Monday.
Harris County is playing a rescheduled Region 1-AAAA play-in game this afternoon at Americus-Sumter; Brookstone was scheduled to begin play at Marion County earlier today; and Pacelli will play at Central-Talbotton at 6 p.m. today.
