Carver added another offensive mind to its coaching lineup just before the start of preseason practices in former Chattahoochee County head coach Josh Kemp.
Kemp will be offensive coordinator at Carver and will run the offense jointly with head coach Dell McGee.
Kemp left Chattahoochee County in April, citing the need for more time to work on his master's degree. But the position at Carver will allow him to continue taking classes, he said.
“It was just a great opportunity for me,” Kemp said. “Since I won't have the head-coaching responsibilities, I can still have the time to work on my master's.”
