The first day of the NCAA early signing period was a busy one for several Bi-City athletes as four signed letters of intent to play for Division I programs.
Brookstone tennis player Katherine White signed with Notre Dame, Central-Phenix City basketball player Monique Jackson signed with Ole Miss and Central basketball player Kristi Mokube signed with Florida State, and Russell County basketball player Rodney Cooper signed with Alabama.
Glenwood baseball player Keaton Aldridge will sign with Memphis and Columbus volleyball player Kristin Fleming will sign with Southern Miss on Monday, and Columbus golfer Jimmy Beck will sign with Kennesaw State and Columbus volleyball player Krista Bradford will sign with Valdosta State on No. 17, the final day of the early signing period.
